The programme of the symposium Structural Fire Engineering 2021 is avaible now. For the seventh time researchers and users meet to exchange ideas on the latest developments on the topic of fire scenarios and design fires, structural fire engineering –Eurocodedesign.

This year there will be three sessions with a total of nine lectures on the topics „Fire safety of steel and concrete structures“, „Thermal effects of natural fires“ and „Fire safety of renewable raw materials“.

Due to the Corona crisis the symposium will be conducted as an online symposium this year. The participation fee on the online symposium is free of charge. The registration is necessary. After successful registration you will receive an access link.

For the seventh time researchers and users meet in Braunschweig to exchange ideas on the latest developments on the topic of structural fire engineering – Eurocode design. Due to the Corona pandemic the symposium is held as a web conference this year. The symposium is an effectively scientific supplement to the Braunschweiger Brandschutz-Tage following directly. It distinguish itself that scientists, especially young researchers but also engineers of structural design and fire protection with practical experience in structural fire engineering and numerical simulations will be discussing current problems of the structural fire engineering. In addition to scientific issues, such as experimental investigations, development of new models and research in the field of material properties, the focus of the event should be the application of structural fire engineering.

Symposium – Call for Papers 2021 de

Zum 7. Mal treffen sich Forscher und Anwender zum fachlichen Austausch über aktuelle Entwicklungen zum Thema Brandszenarien und Brandsimulationen, Heißbemessung – Eurocode-Nachweise. Aufgrund der Corona-Krise wird das Symposium in diesem Jahr als Web-Konferenz durchgeführt. Das Symposium hat sich als wissenschaftlich vertiefte Ergänzung zu den direkt im Anschluss stattfindenden Braunschweiger Brandschutz-Tagen bewährt. Es zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass Wissenschaftler, insbesondere Nachwuchsforscher, aber auch in der Praxis der Heißbemessung und numerischen Simulation tätige Ingenieure von Tragwerksplanungs- und Brandschutzingenieurbüros aktuelle Probleme der Brandschutzbemessung diskutieren. Neben wissenschaftlichen Fragestellungen, wie z. B. experimentelle Untersuchungen, der Entwicklung neuer Modelle bzw. Erkenntnisse der Materialforschung, soll die Anwendung von Heißbemessungsnachweisen Schwerpunkt der Veranstaltung sein.

Symposium 2019 – Programme

The programm of the symposium Structural Fire Engineering 2019 is avaible now. Overall 17 different presentations divided into six different sessions will be held dealing with various topics on structural fire engineering. One of the major topics this year is fire safety of timber structures.

The first common session deals with fire safety of concrete structures. The following sessions on fire safety of steel and composite structures, compartment fires and natural fire exposure as well as on structural fire engineering and fire safety of timber structures(1) are split up on two different rooms, so you can choose the session according to your own interests. The symposium will be closed with a common session on fire safety of timber structures.
Please notice the symposium will take place at the main building (Pockelsstraße 4) this year.

Symposium 2019 – Programm

Das diesjährige Programm für das Symposium Heißbemessung – Structural Fire Engineering – steht Ihnen ab sofort zum Download zur Verfügung. In diesem Jahr wird es sechs Sitzungen mit insgesamt 17 Vorträgen aus allen Themenbereichen der Heißbemessung geben. In Übereinstimmung mit dem Programm der Braunschweiger Brandschutz-Tage liegt in diesem Jahr ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf dem Brandschutz im Holzbau.

Das Symposium startet in diesem Jahr mit einer gemeinsamen Sitzungen zum Brandschutz im Betonbau. Die folgenden Sitzungen zum Brandschutz im Stahl- und Verbundbau, zu Raumbränden und Naturbeanspruchungen sowie zur Heißbemessungen und zum Brandschutz im Holzbau (1) sind aufteilt, sodass Sie die Sitzungen auswählen, die von besonderem Interesse für Sie sind. Das Symposium schließt mit einer gemeinsamen Sitzung zum Brandschutz im Holzbau.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Symposium in diesem Jahr im Altgebäude der TU Braunschweig (Pockelsstraße 4) stattfinden wird.
